Rust Free will quickly and easily bring the natural shine back to rusty surfaces. It is environmentally friendly and non-corrosive. It is also safe on skin.
Rust Free removes rust and oxidation from surfaces at the molecular level. This is accomplished in two steps.
The first involves pulling the oxide of the metal off the surface by forming a lower energy intermediate. The energy of activation is lowered by the use of some botanical intermediates which act as catalysts in the reaction.
The second step involves keeping the new lower energy intermediate in solution. This is facilitated by the use of botanical, naturally occurring sequestrants, which complex up with the salts and keep them in solution. This prevents them from re-depositing. Rust Free will remove rust and oxidation from metal surfaces even if pitting has occurred.
Appearance - green, PH - 3.5, Activity - 100%, Viscosity -liquid 100CPS@25C, gel-10,000CPS@25C , Foaming - low.
For small parts use rust free liquid and soak in liquid for one hour. Rinse with warm water and repeat if necessary. For large pieces or vertical surface use Rust Free gel and brush onto surface. Let stand for 1 hour. After one hour rinse with water or wipe with clothe. Repeat if necessary. |
