Pond Pure is used mainly for removal of algae in ponds and lakes. The mechanism of action is based on the digestion of nitrogen and phosphorus. Most o the algae pollution is produced from run off of fertilizers used by farmers and homeowners. The high levels of nitrogen and phosphorus are fuels for the accelerated growth of the algae. The alga is hazardous because of the toxins they produce as a result of their normal physiology. Additionally, alga also has a blanketing effect blocking sunlight and destroying equilibrium of the watery ecosystem.
Pond Pure is non-toxic, non-hazardous system digesting ammonia, nitrogen and phosphorous, thus clearing the pond of algae and scum accumulation, thereby bringing the pond back to its natural ecosystem.
With Pond Pure, the ammonia is converted to nitrogen gas and the phosphorus is absorbed into the cellular matrix of the bacteria to form the cell walls which aid in the energy systems of the Mitochondria. The elimination of these nutrients are essential in our strategy of algae control. Algae is extremely toxic to fish and human beings because of the by products they produce.
The Pond Pure system starves algae and also digests the toxins. Golf courses usually have many ponds on their grounds and the excessive fertilizing of the grounds causes large amounts of the nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients to run-off into the pond. This becomes a biological reactor for algae and can kill all the fish and vegetation in the pond if not corrected with Pond Pure.
With Pond Pure, fecal matter and other organic materials are easily digest and turned into carbon dioxide and water.
The enzymes in Pond Pure are efficiently successful at dissolving scum build up found around filters and pumps. Sludge can be reduced by as much as 50% depending on the type of wet-up a lagoon may have. The biological system in Pond Pure works in both aerobic and anaerobic digestion processing environments.
Pond Pure digestive processes also help lower the TSS (Total Suspended Solids) in the decanted water. Because of the efficient removal of nitrogen and phosphorous, Pond Pure will control algae formation in settling ponds.
Pond Pure ingredients are approved for use under21 CFR 182.20 for food grade additive, with applications described under section 409. The application of nutrient equalizer is covered under this section.
Pond was acres and the main problem was algae build up on the surface of the lake. The lake also had duck weed and fish which the town council in Louisiana did not want damaged. We treated areas of the lake with the Pond Pure and were able to show elimination of the algae without affecting the fish or the duck weed in the area. Large display ponds ere treated in the Washington area, which contained fish, aquatic plants and algae. The alga was taking over the pond and started to affect the fish.
The pond was the treated with Pond Pure which eliminated the algae, but did not affect the fish or the aquatic plants in the pond. The pond clarity improved and the alga was removed.
