K-99 moisture barrier is a non hazardous, soil treatment system designed to create a moisture barrier on soil, concrete, wood and brick surfaces. It is formulated to keep water in new ponds as well as prevent moisture from getting into areas under house.
The chemical make up of the K-99 is made up of an aerospace elastomer with excellent tackifing capability, which enables it to stick to many different types of surfaces. The ease of application saves time and money, and produces superior water holding and barrier capabilities. Material can be sprayed onto sand or fir tot help ponds and lagoons hold water without the use of bentonite.
K-99 is also excellent at sealing concrete fountains and water work displays. K-99 can seal hairline cracks in concrete ponds and fountains cheaper than applying. Plaster and patches which usually do not stick to the concrete surface. In studies performed on sand, concrete , and wood water was retained and not allowed to pass through the barrier. Material was flexible because of it's elastomer characteristics which enable it to bend and expand and contract. The K-99 is non hazardous and non reactive. It is environmentally safe to use.
The use of the K-99 in spray applications cuts down on the labor required to do these types of jobs, and facilitates the treatment of hard to get to areas.
Spray as is onto soil or concrete or wood, coating the surface uniformly. Repeat coating procedure. Let dry over several hours and repeat if necessary. |
